23rd August 2010: BEST Awards for Job Seekers in Bradford

Forty five learners took to the stage on 29th July in Broadacre House, Bradford, to collect their certificates after successfully completing their City and Guilds Adult numeracy and/or Adult Literacy programmes.

This year’s award ceremony was presented by the by the Lord Mayor and Lady Mayoress of Bradford, Cllr Peter Hill and Mrs Gillian Hill, who were keen to share in the customer’s celebrations.

Michelle Manson, Managing Director of BEST Ltd explained why the ceremony is held in high regard, “This annual ceremony has become an integral part of our calendar in Bradford. BEST are delighted to share in the success of our customers. It’s great to be able to give our customers the opportunity to recognise their significant achievements”. 

Speaking on behalf of the Bradford BEST team was Hyacinth Malik, the Broadacre House Centre Manager described the event as “A very special occasion for our learners and their families. We are delighted that a number of local employers were also recognised and able to share in the customer’s successes. I would personally like to thank all the staff for their hard work and contribution towards organising the event.”
