Now you should have completed the CV types exercise and decided on which CV is most suitable for you and the position for which you are applying. Below are a few example CV's for functional, chronological and targeted types that you may find useful when creating your own CV.

Functional

• Functional CV 1

Skills-Based/Targeted

Performance/Chronological

Things to remember

• Use clear sized font for example Arial size 12.
• Leave enough space between each section.
• Make sure you can be contacted at the address and phone number you supply.
• Use similar headings and layout as the example opposite.
• A CV is your opportunity to sell yourself to employers.
