Work Programme

• Update 27th August 2010

As we now have further information on the requirements of the DWP Framework commissioning process we want to take the opportunity to update partners and potential partners on our current strategy.

To date we have been keen to avoid asking potential partners to provide more than basic contact details because until now we have had very limited information on the evidence requirements for the Framework stage. The Invitation to Tender issued this week confirms that there is no need to identify potential supply chain partners in the Framework competition.

We will be working on our Framework submission for Yorkshire & the Humber over the next four weeks and do not anticipate our position in terms of requesting Expressions of Interest’s (EOI’s) will change during this period. Whilst we would hope to avoid asking for EOI’s before we know if we are a successful Framework provider, we recognise the timescales for commissioning the Work Programme itself will be very short. We anticipate that due to the procurement timetable of the actual Work Programme competition we may issue EOI’s in early October so we are ready to start the selection process as soon as the Work Programme Invitation to Tender is issued in Dec, should we be successful at this stage.
